The Chairman of the Committee got acquainted with the activities of the 1st block mosque in Bilajari settlement

Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations   visited the mosque of the 1st block of Bilajari settlement on November 1.
During the meeting with religious figures working in the mosque, the Chairman of the Committee said that the state policy in the religious field is based on principles such as secularism, freedom of conscience and religious beliefs, and equality of religions. The environment of religious tolerance in our country ensures solidarity and peaceful coexistence between different nationalities and confessions.
R. Mammadov noted that the effective organization of religious education is important to convey the importance of the model of state-religion relations and progressive religious values to public opinion. Religious figures bear a great responsibility in this field.
Clergymen emphasized that they highly value the care given to the religious sphere by the state, and brought to attention their proposals regarding the activities of the mosque and the religious community.
