The visit of the participants of the Baku Global Summit of World Religious Leaders, held under the slogan "World religions for a green planet" within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, has begun.

Eldar Seyidov, the deputy special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Agdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand regions, informed the guests about the destruction and acts of vandalism caused by occupying Armenia in the territory of Fuzuli region for 30 years. After the liberation from occupation, he spoke about the works carried out and planned in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It was reported that the city of Fuzuli, like many other regions occupied by Armenia for nearly 30 years, was looted and completely wiped out. All houses, social facilities were destroyed, farms were destroyed. After the victory in the Patriotic War, large-scale reconstruction works were started in the liberated territories. Some of the former IDPs have already returned to their native lands. They are settling in a new residential area being built in the city of Fuzuli.
It was brought to attention that the Fuzuli International Airport, called the air gate of Karabakh, was built at the most modern level. All work done here was carried out in accordance with international norms and standards.
