On August 9, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, met with Ramazan Asgarli, Secretary of the Baku City Baha’i Religious Community, and the community representative Azer Jafarov.
During the meeting, it was noted that the policy of preserving multicultural traditions, established by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, is currently being confidently continued and developed by President Ilham Aliyev. The significance of Azerbaijan’s model of state-religion relations was emphasized, along with the importance of promoting the country’s successful experience and its culture of coexistence among various peoples and religious denominations.
The meeting also included discussions on the future prospects of the religious community’s activities.
