In accordance with the schedule for receiving citizens in cities and districts by heads of central executive authorities, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, held a reception for citizens in Yevlakh on May 13.

Prior to the reception Ramin Mammadov visited the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, erected in the city center, to honor his memory.

During the reception, citizens from Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Agdash, and Barda submitted appeals concerning various issues, including the appointment of clergy to Islamic places of worship, the provision of books to religious communities, the state registration of religious communities, and other related matters.

The reception, attended by the heads of relevant structural divisions of the State Committee, facilitated careful listening to the citizens' requests and proposals. Applications were accepted, and instructions were given for appropriate actions to be taken.
