The Chairman of the Committee visited the Grand Bazaar "Juma" mosque in Lankaran city
On October 21, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, visited the Grand Bazaar "Juma" mosque in Lankaran city.
During the conversation with the religious figures working in the religious chapel, the Chairman of the Committee noted that there is a stable environment in the religious field in Azerbaijan, and our country is exemplary in terms of confessions and inter-denominational relations. The care given to religious communities by the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the continuous creation of wide opportunities for their activities is a clear example of the high attitude towards our national and moral values.
Ramin Mammadov also stated that religious figures have a great responsibility in protecting this healthy religious environment from threats and educating the young generation in the spirit of national, moral and universal values, and urged them to take advantage of the opportunities of social networks in the work of religious education.
After mutual exchange of views, religious figures expressed their satisfaction with the attention paid to religion and to them by the state.
