Chairman visited student’s home at Azerbaijan Institute of Theology
Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, visited the family of Hamza Hasanov, a first-year student majoring in Islamic Studies at the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology within the framework of the Institute’s initiative “Your Guests Are Your Teachers.”
During the meeting, Mr. Mammadov highlighted the attention and care provided to young people by the country’s leadership. He noted that state-supported programs help improve the knowledge and skills of youth while strengthening their social protection. He emphasized that nurturing responsible, well-educated young people who uphold national and moral values is one of the key priorities of state policy.
The Chairman also said that the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology is implementing a range of educational and social initiatives aimed at encouraging young people’s active participation in public life, broadening their worldview, and creating a healthy academic environment. He added that these efforts contribute not only to students’ personal development but also to the formation of sound religious thinking in society, as well as the preservation of tolerance and multicultural values.
Mr. Mammadov further noted that such visits help strengthen mutual trust between students, their families, and higher education institutions, while also allowing the Committee and the Institute to better understand students’ social circumstances and identify the support mechanisms needed.
The student’s parents expressed their gratitude to the Azerbaijani state for the conditions created for their child’s education, and for the scholarship and support provided.
Hamza Hasanov was admitted to the Islamic Studies program at the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology after scoring 618 points in the entrance examinations administered by the State Examination Center.
