Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations  got acquainted with the activities of the "Khanim Fatimeyi-Zahra" mosque located in the Surakhani district of Baku.
The chairman of the State Committee said in a meeting with religious figures working in the mosque that there is a stable environment in the religious field in Azerbaijan, and our country is exemplary in terms of relations between confessions and sects. The care shown by President Ilham Aliyev to religious communities, the constant creation of wide opportunities for their activities is a clear example of the high attitude towards our national and moral values. R. Mammadov, who drew attention to the importance of education in terms of maintaining a healthy religious environment in our country, noted that religious figures have a great responsibility in this direction and gave relevant recommendations.
At the same time, Chairman of the Committee said that he visited mosques, churches and synagogues to get acquainted with the activities of houses of worship, and that this process will cover all regions of the country. He said that the purpose of visiting the houses of worship is to see the current situation visually, as well as to have direct discussions with religious leaders and members of the religious community.
At the meeting, the opinions and suggestions of religious figures on various issues were heard.
