Chairman of the State Committee Ramin Mammadov visited the "Heydar" mosque
On July 24, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Institutions, got acquainted with the activities of the "Heydar" mosque administration.
The chairman of the administration, Sabir Hasanli, gave information about the activities of the mosque and said that in the Islamic world, the prayer hall without any sectarian discrimination is one of the rare mosques that has been based on the principle of unity since the first day of its operation. S. Hasanli spoke about the religious figures of both sects and the exemplary relations between them in the mosque named after the National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, and noted that the mosque played an important role in promoting the atmosphere of brotherhood and tolerance that was formed historically in Azerbaijan.
In his conversation with religious figures, Ramin Mammadov drew attention to exemplary state-religion relations in our country, and the importance of solidarity and spiritual unity. He said that due to the increasing state care for our national and moral values under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the environment of coexistence in Azerbaijan is getting stronger. R. Mammadov, who also touched on the responsibilities of religious leaders in the work carried out in the direction of promoting these values, spoke about the importance of their activeness in the educational work carried out in the ideological field.
At the meeting, the views and proposals of religious figures were heard, and discussions were held on the work to be done in the religious field in our country.
