Chairman of the State Committee held reception for citizens in Gobustan
Pursuant to the schedule for citizen receptions by the heads of central executive authorities and other administrative bodies in cities and districts, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Organizations, held a reception for citizens in the city of Gobustan on January 26.
Before the reception, the Chairman visited the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Gobustan city and paid tribute to his memory.
During the reception, citizens from the districts of Gobustan, Shamakhi, Ismayilli, and Agsu raised issues related to the appointment of a religious cleric to Islamic places of worship and pilgrimage sites, the provision of books to places of worship under the “A Library in Every Mosque” project, the activities of religious communities, the expansion of religious awareness initiatives, and other matters.
The reception, attended the heads of the relevant structural divisions of the State Committee, included consideration of citizens’ appeals and proposals, and instructions were issued to implement the appropriate measures.
