On July 30, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, met with a group of theologians working as imams.
The Chairman of the Committee drew attention to the sensitive attitude shown by the state to the preservation of our national and moral values, tolerant environment, and the repair and restoration of religious monuments. He said that one of the main goals and objectives ahead is to keep this tradition alive and pass it on to future generations. Religious leaders, especially theologians, have a great responsibility in promoting and promoting our national-spiritual and religious values, in communicating religion to the public in the right form, and in carrying out educational work at a high level. It is very important that they have a higher or secondary religious education, have a high worldview, and adhere to the ideology of Azerbaijanism. Ramin Mammadov evaluated the preparation of national personnel who promote and promote unity in Islam and do not allow sectarian discrimination at the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, and at the same time the selection of clergymen to work through interviews as an important step in this field. As a result of all this, despite the change of stereotypes formed about clergymen in the society, there is still a need for purposeful measures to raise the general level of preparation of clergymen, and for this reason, the State Committee will conduct trainings, he said.
At the meeting, the opinions and suggestions of the religious leaders about the proper promotion of our national and moral values and the effective education process were heard.
It should be noted that the theologians participating in the meeting were successful in the interview held by the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations    to fill vacant positions in places of worship related to the Islamic religion in Yasamal district "Ilahiyyat", "Haji Javad", Khazar district "Gala" and Khirdalan city in Absheron district and they act as imams in their mosques.
