On September 3, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, visited the Theology Mosque and met with the religious figures working there.
The Chairman of the Committee noted at the meeting that special attention is paid to religion at the state level in Azerbaijan. He said that President Mr. Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva are sensitive to the protection of our national and moral values and the environment of tolerance.
Ramin Mammadov said that religious figures have a great responsibility in promoting the essence of religion as it is, promoting inter-religious dialogue and cooperation. He emphasized that the development of religious education and religious education is one of the priority directions.
Clergymen expressed their appreciation for the attention and care shown to them by the state. They noted that the protection of the religious and cultural diversity existing in Azerbaijan is of great importance.
At the meeting, views were exchanged on state-religion relations, the state's concern for religion, the protection of our national and moral values and other relevant issues, and at the same time, planned events and upcoming tasks were discussed.
