Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations visited the "Hazrat Imam Ali" mosque in Binagadi district on November 1.
During the meeting with religious figures, Chairman of the Committee said that Azerbaijan's state policy in the field of religion is based on a perfect scientific-theoretical base. He said that the fight against all manifestations of religious fanaticism and radicalism is one of the priority directions. The stability of the religious situation in Azerbaijan is a successful result of the state policy conducted in the direction of strengthening the model of state-religion relations.
Emphasizing that the successful policy implemented by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev played an important role in the development of the culture of religious tolerance, R. Mammadov said that the activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation is of great importance in this field.
At the meeting, the religious figures, who brought their opinions and suggestions on various issues, expressed their satisfaction with the high level of freedom of religion in our country and the care given to religious communities.
