Chairman of the State Committee visited Jame mosque in Binagadi settlement
Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, met with religious figures on November 1 at Jame mosque in Binagadi settlement.
The Chairman of the State Committee shared his views on the role of religion in society and the promotion of religious tolerance, stressing that the state will continue to support religious communities. The Chairman of the Committee drew attention to the fact that clergymen should base their activities on the traditions of tolerance in Azerbaijan, the promotion of our national and moral values, and the principles of statehood and patriotism.
During the meeting, R. Mammadov noted that such visits aim to study the activities of religious communities and their needs, as well as that they are important in terms of further strengthening cooperation between religious communities and the state.
Later, the opinions of religious figures were heard. They expressed their high appreciation of the state's concern for religious communities. They noted that religious tolerance plays an important role in strengthening unity in society.
