On August 9, Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of the State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, met with Rasim Khalilov, Head of the “Azerbaijan Bible Society” Christian religious community in Baku.

During the meeting, interfaith harmony, multicultural values, and tolerance were emphasized as priotities in Azerbaijan. The significance of the policies implemented under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan to ensure freedom of religious belief was also highlighted.

Rasim Khalilov noted that the environment of coexistence among various religious and ethnic groups in the country is built on solid foundations, stressing that all religious communities benefit from the established multicultural environment.
